Sun's Out Swim School is Pinellas County's newest private swim school. Locally owned and operated, we offer private, semi-private, in-home, and parent/child swim lessons. Sun's Out teaches a unique curriculum focusing on water safety, fundamental swimming skills, and stroke development. Our experienced instructors will ensure your child learns to swim safely and proficiently and has a ton of fun along the way!

Opened in 2018, Sun's Out Swim School operates with the goal of making all children in Pinellas County able swimmers. What makes Sun's Out unique is our specially designed swim curriculum and experienced, passionate instructors. Sun's Out instructors have experience swimming competitively and working with children.

Brian is the owner and lead instructor of Sun's Out Swim School. He is an American Red Cross certified Lifeguard and USA Swimming certified coach. He grew up in Redington Shores and swam for St. Petersburg High School. Brian also has an interest in open water swimming and has competed in many local triathlons.
Pricing & Policies

In-Home Lessons may be scheduled for 1, 2, or 3 swimmers. Swimmers do not have to be at the same skill level. In-Home lessons allow your child(ren) to learn and practice where they'll spend most of their pool time! Maximum travel distance is 10 miles from Sun's Out Swim School. Parent/Child Lessons are for our newest swimmers, aged 6 months - 3 years.

Brian Behring founded Sun's Out Swim School in 2018. After teaching swim lessons in Texas, Australia, Philadelphia, and Michigan he wanted to bring high-quality swim lessons to his hometown. Our lessons are taught by experienced, lifeguard-certified instructors using a proven curriculum. Swimmers must be 2 years old and fully potty trained before beginning swim lessons.
