Old World Kennel is family owned and operated, and has been breeding, importing, training, and showing some of the finest German rottweilers since 1981. As rottweiler breeders, we have built our name and reputation by seeking out the absolute top rottweiler bloodlines from Germany, and incorporating those lines into our own.
We also import rottweiler puppies and young adults for other discriminate rottweiler breeders, to enable them to do the same. Old World Kennel rottweilers are known for their versatility in winning major world events, both in the international show ring and at the top working competitions as well.

We appreciate your interest in our rottweilers. My name is John Bernard, and I began my involvement with the rottweiler breed in 1981. I have two grown sons, both of whom were raised around rottweilers and as a result have developed a passion for the breed. Since the beginning, I have been extremely active with the rottweiler breed in one capacity or another.
Facility

In our home, our dogs are not our pets, they are a part of the family. Although all of our dogs have their own indoor/outdoor kennel runs, each dog takes a turn coming into the home in the evening and spends the night with the family. The kennel building is insulated and heated, and is complete with a grooming station and a walk-in dog bath.

Our rottweiler puppies are raised with strict attention towards unexcelled nutrition, consistent daily exercise, and a wide variety of socialization. Children, adults, mature dogs, and a range of different environments and sounds are all things that an eight week old rottweiler puppy should be well familiar with.
