Founded in 1993, Riding To The Top Therapeutic Riding Center is a non-profit 501(c)(3) dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of children and adults with disabilities through equine assisted services. We operate year-round at our 50 acre farm in Windham, Maine. Research now substantiates what we have witnessed at the farm for years-time spent in nature, human-animal interactions and belonging to a community is good for your health.
Human-Animal Interactions are at the core of RTT's work and are made possible because of our professional staff, dedicated volunteers and incredible horses. We witness on a daily basis the health and wellness benefits of HAI for our clients, their families, our volunteers and our staff.

Volunteers are the heart of Riding To The Top. They contribute over 11,000 hours each year to improve the lives of our clients and horses. While volunteers serve in many capacities, the majority of our volunteers assist in lessons. Volunteers also help with barn chores, facility and trail maintenance, administrative tasks, events and special projects.
