Lorien Music Lessons offers private violin and piano lessons in Metairie, New Orleans area to both children and adults. We also provide fiddle instruction with the opportunity to perform together duets with the teacher. Our mission is to offer a learning environment through our classes that will help each student build a solid musical basis and develop a long range technical and musical skills.

Piano lessons at Lorien Music Lessons are offered to both children and adults in classical, rock, pop and other genres. Beginners start with the essentials, for example getting familiar with the names of the keys, reading notes and rhythms, playing one hand songs and progressing to two hand exercises.
Violin Lessons

Violin lessons at Lorien Music Lessons are offered for both children and adults in different genres. We use advanced and exciting methods to present different repertoire and techniques. Our violin instruction includes Suzuki and Traditional methods as well as Cajun fiddle and traditional folk music playing.

We provide your favorite Classical, Traditional, Pop, Rock, and Jazz music with diverse in size and arrangement ensembles to fit any type of event and budget. Lorien Music Lessons offers private, in home instruction to all ages and skill levels. Our learners can be from Pre K all the way to college students and adults. We equally accommodate first year beginners as well as the most advanced students. Depending on each student's skill level and area of interest, all lessons are tailored with custom-made lesson plans.
