Memorial and Labor Day weekends have a three-night minimum and require full payment in advance. Our tree cottages are built on stilts, eight to ten feet off the ground with small porches and are insulated for year-round use. Four older and four newer cottages are available for reservations. None of our tree cottages have electricity.
Amenities
Report
There are two outdoor (but private) showers with hot water and the ability to lock yourself in. There is one heated, indoor shower for winter. The camp shop offers wood, ice, charcoal, coffee, sodas, snacks, canned goods, T-shirts, lanterns and things that people forget - like marshmallows, condiments, toiletries etc.
Camp Rules
Report
Happy noise during the daytime is part of the joy of camping. Thoughtless noise such as loud radios, screaming and shouting, and any noise after 11 pm is a breach of camper courtesy and may risk a request to leave the campground. Because of the mountain setting, sound carries very easily, so campers should consciously try to be quiet after 11 pm.
Attractions
Report
One rule we have had for 46 years is, there is no entrance or exit allowed into or out of the campground without prior permission between 11 p.m. and 7 a.m. This is for common sense safety reasons so we can all get a good nights sleep. It is important to us that all campers enjoy their stay. One campers' enjoyment should never come at the expense of their neighbors' enjoyment.
