Illinois Aviation is located in the western suburbs of Chicago at Dupage Airport (KDPA). IAA started at this facility and has grown with the Dupage community over the last 23 years. For transient customers IAA has many partners for travel and lodging options. Illinois Aviation's main hangar houses over 30 aircraft in its 30,000 square feet of heated space.

Illinois Aviation Academy is conveniently located at the DuPage County Airport in West Chicago, Illinois. Travel time to and from Chicago can take anywhere from 45 minutes to an hour depending on traffic and time. Once in the Fox Valley Area you will be surrounded by some of the country's nicest towns such as St. Charles and Geneva.
Online Ground School

All courses are aligned to FAA Knowledge requirements for each individual certificate or Rating. Each course incorporates an online home study course which utilizes videos, Slides and quizzes. This course includes literature and resources for future reference and use. Along with the Home study Coursework, Remote online classes will be held live with a Certified Flight instructor 3 times a week.
Private Pilot Online Ground School
Report
This course will proved you with all of the FAA Required Knowledge for the Private Pilot Certificate. After completing this course you will be Ready to Pass the FAA Required Private Pilot Written Exam. This course utilizes fully online curriculum. You will be required to complete certain sections prior to each live remote class.

The Flight Times reflect the minimums that each aviator is required to meet, prior to receiving their FAA checkride. Illinois Aviation Academy's instructors are all full time employees of the corporation.
