Small group with 2 enrolling employees and no participation or contribution requirements (special enrollment period). 5. Send us (info@layandwilliams.com) a census of participating employees with gender, dates of birth and genders and dates of birth for any dependents to be covered.

As a small business (fewer than 50 employees) there is no mandate to offer health insurance! Cannot meet minimum participation percentage required if employees are asked to share in the cost of the insurance. Ability to offer benefits at a cost you determine (you select the amount, if any, the employer will pay toward the employee premium).

If you do not have a qualifying event and have missed the annual open enrollment you can still purchase a temporary plan to bridge the gap in coverage.
