The Center on the Developing Child did a study at Harvard University and it concluded that most synapses in the human brain development were formed between birth and 12 months of age. We believe in fostering early infant development through hands on exploratory play and planned activities. Music, Movement and Finger Plays- Listening to many rotating songs and finger plays based on the thematic unit each month in the curriculum.

As your child grows and learns, your child is more fascinated with exploring his or her environment. We will ensure that there is an exciting and inviting classroom space for your child to play and discover. Peers may also start to become important to your child at this age as he or she begins to participate in parallel play (playing beside another child) or in direct play.

Central Christian Academy offers an enriched before and after school pick up program. We drop off and pick up at all local Greenbrier Schools and ABC programs! We understand the different needs that your school age child has once the regular school day is over.
It is important that your child has a chance to "unwind" from a long day at school, but also to have structure and age appropriate activities to enhance their time at Central Christian Academy.
