Lava Bluffs was first started in 2007 with the first breezeway barn being built. Soon after there were covered outdoor stalls added because we needed more room. In 2012 the row barn was completed and from there we have kept growing. Always improving our facilities to make sure there are comfortable places for your equine companions to stay.

He is a little on the "goosie" side, every once in a while he will get startled and is quick to move those feet. Started later in life, but has shown great improvement especially when you put him on a cow. Maverik has a great mind and is willing to please. He is a fast learner and is great to be around.

Ryons passion for horses started when he was young working on his families ranch. He started roping and realized that he liked working with young horses and training them in many different disciplines. Whether it be roping, reining, barrel racing or a good solid broke horse. Ryon studied and trained with a professional reining, working cow horse and cutting horse trainer for 2 years before starting his own training program.
