It's not Blackburn-Curry, it's James & Shannon. They handled my Dad's funeral and managed to somehow make a bad situation seem a little better. When you first enter, it doesn't "feel" like a funeral home, it just feels like home. And meeting James & Shannon feels like meeting long lost family members. They truly do care about the people God places in they're life, long after services are rendered. They are compationate, caring, good Godly people. I'm glad they are now a part of our family.

There are not enough words to explain what a true blessing Shannon and James Curry at Blackburn-Curry Funeral Home were during the process of laying our loved one to rest. Our family was a true mess due to the sudden death of my sons father. Shannon and James handled our loved one and the whole family with so much patience, care and compassion. I can not say enough about James and Shannon at Blackburn-Curry. The first call I made I knew I wanted them to handle my dad's arrangements. They definitely have a special gift to serve others. They were concerned with every single detail of the process. They never pushed any high price items. In fact, they encouraged us to only do what we could do without causing any type of hardship after the funeral was over. They truly acted like family and had our best interest at heart. I can not thank James and Shannon Curry enough for all that they did when my Grandmother passed away. She had her funeral already planned with another funeral home. But I wanted to change the plans to them an they were very helpful in getting it switched over. Go an talk to them they treat you like family.
