Our name says it all: Veracity is the conformity to truthfulness. When Veracity Aviation was created in 2008, Derrick Smith, owner and President had seen good and bad flight training. He believed that there was a way to turn the industry of flight training into a straightforward and honest path to being employed as a helicopter pilot.

We provide contract services at all levels ranging from simple piloting and trip planning to maintenance, surveys of land and wildlife and pipeline/powerline damage. Our professional and qualified pilots and staff are at your service when you need us. Let us do the work for you! Veracity Aviation's customizable one-on-one flight training programs cater to individuals in all walks of life. We provide a variety of flight training for everyone from novice pilots who have never been in a helicopter, to advanced pilots, to veterans and international students. Veracity's students are anywhere from 15 years old to 70 years old- it's never too late to achieve your dreams.

We can help save money and time as you try to figure out the process of adding on a helicopter rating to your fixed-wing license. Veracity Aviation offers flight training add-ons for Private Pilot through CFI.

The first step to fulfill your dream of flying helicopters is to get your Private Pilot's License (PPL). This is true regardless of if you want to fly as a hobby, for business or as a career. Obtaining your license will allow you to fly friends and family day or night around the United States while acting as Pilot in Command (PIC).
