As you look through this site you will get an understanding of how I think about and practice therapy. From my perspective, the primary therapeutic tool is the relationship and fit between the client and the therapist. This relationship becomes a pathway for change to happen.
If there is a good fit between the client and the therapist, a trusting, intimate relationship can develop and a safe space (in which defenses can be challenged and emotional experiences can emerge and be explored) can be created.While we can't change difficult situations of the past, we can work together to better understand and negotiate these experiences and/or the challenges you may presently face.

Services may be covered in full or in part by your health insurance or employee benefit plan. A scheduled therapy hour is being reserved for you. If you do not show up for your scheduled therapy appointment, and you have not notified me at least 24 hours in advance, then no one else will be able to use the time.
