Pine Ridge Grocery was founded in 1996 with a vision to bring the unique bulk food store concept rooted in Amish and Mennonite traditions to central New York. Our founders, Steve and Rhoda Kauffman, established the original 1,200 sq ft store on State Highway 206, offering quality Lancaster-Dutch deli meats, hard-to-find baking supplies, and old-fashioned candies. Through three ownership transitions and multiple expansionsincluding a 2017 retail space increase to 4,200 sq ftwe've maintained our commitment to combining traditional values with modern infrastructure. Today, we operate two locations totaling over 10,000 sq ft, employing 25+ team members who uphold our Christian heritage of service, integrity, and community.Our bulk food model, where most products are purchased in large quantities and repackaged for customer convenience, remains central to our identity. The expansion and addition of fresh produce adds to the already great experince shopping there. Love the baking supplies and the great options at the deli. The fresh baked goods are a great reminder of "home" as they have many that are from the PA Dutch background - whoopie pies, molasses cookies, shoofly pies, etc. Fresh baked rolls are worth the drive. Make sure to check out the last aisle of kids toys, wall hangings, wood carved sayings and candles. The bulk meat sales are of high quality and a great value. We can say the chicken, beef, bacon, hot dog and sausage sales have always exceeded

I highly recommend Pine Ridge! I just bought a new home and needed to stock my kitchen. I was able to get every single spice I needed at an excellent price and stock up several other needed items as well. Everyone was extremely friendly, the store was impeccably clean, and the prices were great!
