STORBOX Self Storage and The Wine Grotto opened in 2001 and is both the largest wine storage and self storage facility in the San Gabriel Valley and is one of the largest in Southern California. It is family owned and operated with management and investors in the Pasadena and South Pasadena communities.

How much space do you need? It depends on what type of wines you collect and how you store them. Generally wine storage is offered by the cubic foot or case. A typical case of California cabernet is one cubic foot. Of course pinots tend to require slightly more space. And if you have wine in wooden crates or large format bottles these will require more room.

Separate fingerprint scans are required for each individual whom has access. We provide carts to make getting your wine in and out of the facility as effortless as possible. Our wine lockers all come furnished with robust metal shelves allowing standard case sizes to be stacked two high and two deep.
