Who is GSAR

Don Castro, owner of Golden State Appliance Repair, has been involved in the appliance repair industry since the mid-2000s. Initially working for a national appliance repair company as a dispatcher and administrator, he eventually learned the trade himself, moved back to his home state of California in 2011, and started GSAR in 2013.

We offer appliance repair services for homeowners in the Monterey Bay Area Monday through Saturday, 9am - 9pm. You can book your appointment by using our service request form. To save our customers money, we don't employ a dedicated receptionist - so our customers typically book appliance repair appointments using our service request form.
