Career Opportunities

Dancers must be classically trained in ballet and willing to adapt to modern, neoclassical and contemporary choreography. Strong partnering skills preferred. Salaries based upon experience. Aspiring dance professionals from 16 to 21 years can begin their professional experience by training with Ballet Palm Beach.

The opportunity to watch a beautiful live ballet performance in our area's grandest theatre with family members or classmates creates a lasting memory. Ballet Palm Beach promotes equal access to the arts by providing free tickets to main stage productions for underserved populations. Those demonstrating financial need are identified through local partner charity organizations who distribute tickets to their members.

Ballet Palm Beach suddenly appears and performs "flash mob" style throughout Palm Beach County bringing live ballet performance directly to our community!
Past Flash Ballet performances have been seen by thousands on Clematis Street, FAU Lifelong Learning Center, The Gardens Mall, Palm Beach Atlantic University, Centennial Park, Rosemary Square, Downtown at the Gardens, Northwood Village, Mirokami Museum, Brightline trains, the Veteran Affairs Medical Center, Worth Avenue, Whole Foods and the Palm Beach Zoo.

Ballet Ambassadors

Ballet Ambassadors is Ballet Palm Beach's international outreach program. Since its inception in 2009, Ballet Palm Beach's professional dancers, trainees and advanced BPB Academy students have performed for audiences in Cuba, Croatia, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Hungary and Russia.
BPB reaches thousands of people with performances presented in large & small theaters as well as rather non traditional settings: parks, prisons, nursing homes, youth detention centers, churches, synagogues, subway & train stations.For many of our BPB Academy students, this is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to see the world and experience its many cultural offerings.
