At Sunset Beach our clients have access to four different levels of UV tanning. The equipment in both locations is manufactured by some of the best companies that the tanning industry has to offer. All of our lay down Sun Beds are German made beds by Sontegra, and our Sun Booths are made by Massachusetts based Sun Capsule.

As a key element of our Smart Tan initiative, Sunset Beach follows the FDA's recommendation to allow 24 hours between sunbed sessions. The skin needs 24 hours to process and build color after a tanning session. Allowing 24 hours between sessions actually maximizes color development. It's the fundamental ingredient for all life forms.

Sunset Beach custom airbrush spray tan solutions are paraben free, toxin free, allergen free, and eco-certified all natural. The active ingredient, Dihydroxyacetone (or DHA) is extracted from sugar beets and sugar cane. Since its not a dye or pigment, it does not penetrate the skin, but simply reacts with the skin's outermost layer of proteins, resulting in a bronzing effect.
