We are breeders and trainers of champion Golden Retrievers here in Cornwall, Vermont and usually plan to have golden retriever puppies in the spring and/or fall. Real world training for you and your dog. We specialize in positive reinforcement for happier working dogs. A dog shows joy in doing something he really loves. The same joy that a dog brings to life, he can bring to training. All we have to do is figure out what the dogs want from us and how much it means to them.
Boarding
Report
Our boarding kennel is a small addition to the training building keeping it cozy and more like home. We only have 10 runs. It features radiant heating (and a pellet stove for extra heat) and rubber mats in each kennel. It is very pleasant with large windows for sunlight and ventilation. Each kennel consists of a 4' x 6' indoor area with an attached 4' x 12' covered run.
Class Descriptions
Report
Class will cover Attention (the foundation for all training), Sit, Down, Stay, Coming when called, Leave It, Polite Greeting, Loose Leash walking, and more. Class will build on skills taught in Level 1 class including Heel and working with more distractions, Also introduction to Rally Obedience and Canine Good Citizen.
