What is the minimum age requirement?
Guests must be at least 13 years old. Groups require two adults (18+) for supervision.
How do I book a same-day reservation?

SO MUCH FUN! + NOSTALGIA JOY! Our family has completed 15-20 escape rooms, and "1985" is at the top of our list of favorites. The game is challenging but not frustrating. Clues aren't easy, but make sense and the surprises keep coming. Our 10 year old had a blast and I was in memory lane. Better than the corporate Escape Game rooms (of which we've completed several). Great Job to the owner of The Locked Inn!!

Our family loves escape rooms and this one didnt let us down! It was easily the best one weve done. We did the 1985 Room and it was awesome! The props were great and brought back memories and the music kept you going. The room flowed really well and it was a challenge but not too easy and not too hard. Heather was fantastic and her dogs were adorable! ;) This was our first time at this one but this will now be our go-to escape room location!

This was our second time doing the escape room for Blur Hair Studio holiday party. We had so much fun in the 1985 room. The ideas was for us to have a experience together as a team followed by a great dinner. This hit the spot for just that, we worked together as a team then had fun discussing everything that happened the rest of the evening. I totally recommend this for anyone looking for a new memory with great friends and or for team building.

While I have only been here twice, I can say without a doubt this is one of the best time to be had on the central coast. And you definitely get your moneys worth. An hour goes by quickly yet I feel we had a full evening of entertainment. The 80s themed room was a flashback of fun and the music was perfect. Our innkeeper was amazing in not only friendliness and professionalism, but her skills are incredible. Totally go see Heather at The Locked Inn in Grover Beach - its a totally awesome time!

So much fun! We did the 1985 room and it was a blast. Clever puzzles with satisfying solutions and plenty of 80s nostalgia. Both the room and the business easily accommodated our large group: 7 adults, 1 teen, and 2 kids. The teen and kids still had a great time even though they didn't understand the references. They even discovered a few solutions the adults missed! Customer service from both the owner and the other worker were exceptional. People nervous about feeling "trapped" should know that you're always being supervised in case you need a hint. We will definitely be returning.
