Maureen's Swim Academy's mission is to Educate and encourage the knowledge of Swimming, Safety, and Survival in, on and around all bodies of water. We teach in a loving, warm environment to build our student's trust, and we teach in a logical progression. Learning to swim should be a fun experience where children become more confident, independent, safe swimmers.

Our philosophy at Maureen's Swim Academy is to create safe, independent swimmers. We follow the American Red Cross Learn to Swim and Water Safety Program. Adults that have not learned or are not considered safe swimmers, this is the year to complete your bucket list. What are you waiting for? Our goal is to decrease the statistics of accidental drowning deaths in Florida.

When Maureen was a Junior in High School she was teaching swim lessons to very large groups of children. Her heart went out to each child because they were being robbed of learning. She thought If only they could be in a private lesson they would have been swimming in no time. Why would anyone want to prolong the length of learning to swim and being safe around the water?

We are a reputable company with high expectations of our subcontractors. This job requires you to drive from home to home which means all applicants must appear and conduct themselves professionally. Subcontractors work mainly on their own and must be trusted to work unsupervised. Punctuality is a must and communication with clients and administration are key for this position.
Swimming Lessons

We can teach the student in the comfort of your own swimming pool! We mainly come and teach at your pool, either your backyard or community pool. We have a beautiful enclosed heated salt water pool opened year around bordering Tampa/Oldsmar. If you do not have your own pool we have other locations throughout the 3 counties.
