My name is Sam Thompson. I live in the West Central mountains of Idaho with my wonderful wife and dog. It is in the core of my soul to create and build. Seed woodworking is the result of this and gives me an avenue to satisfy this need. With all that is going on in the world right now it is my hope to bring people back to the table and talk about their daily lives and the issues at hand.
I hope that my furniture and craftsmanship inspires people to think outside the box to solve these problems so we can live more at peace with each other. Although they may be dying virtues, I still believe in and practice, honesty and reliability. Through years of hard work fighting wildfires I have learned that a man is only as good as his word and work ethic.

Spring is here and there is no time be inside. Don't get me wrong, I love the winter, but sometimes it can drag on and drive a man to enjoy an extra "how do you do" of whiskey. So when the weather starts changing I want to be out in it as much as possible. Over the past few weeks I have put a lot of miles on the Tundra and seen a lot of amazing country.
