Ballet Classes
Our ballet program builds foundational technique through barre and center floor work. Students develop proper poise, discipline, and classical dance skills while learning respect for the art form. Classes cater to all levels from beginners to advanced dancers preparing for professional careers.
Competition Team
The award-winning competition team offers specialized training for dedicated dancers. Participants receive advanced choreography instruction, performance coaching, and competition preparation. This program develops technical precision, stage presence, and teamwork through regional and national competition opportunities.
Hip Hop Workshops
Our hip hop classes teach rhythm, musicality, and street-style technique for ages 3 and up. Students learn current dance trends while developing coordination and self-expression in a high-energy environment that fosters confidence and creativity.
Turns & Leaps
This specialized class focuses on improving dance technique through concentrated training in turns and leaps. Students enhance flexibility, balance, and aerial control through targeted exercises designed to elevate performance quality for competitive and recreational dancers.
Tiny Tot Combo
Designed for ages 3-7, these combo classes introduce basic tap and ballet techniques. Structured lessons develop motor skills, rhythm, and classroom etiquette while fostering a love for dance in a fun, age-appropriate learning environment.

Jenny Glenn, a graduate of Oklahoma City University's nationally recognized dance program, has 15+ years of teaching experience and 10+ years in dance studio management. She founded Signature Dance Academy in 2010 after relocating to San Diego from Michigan.

We offer ballet, jazz, tap, hip hop, lyrical/contemporary, turns & leaps, and combo classes for young children.
Do you have competitive dance teams?
Yes, we have an award-winning competition team with experienced coaching staff for regional and national competitions.
What are your class pricing options?
Monthly tuition ranges from $72 for one class/week to $375 for ten+ classes/week, with a $25 annual registration fee.
Are there discounts available?
We offer a 10% sibling discount applied to the lower tuition rate for multiple students in the same family.
What are your cancellation policies?
Written cancellations with 2 weeks notice are required via email. No refunds are given for missed classes or post-billing cancellations.
Do you offer trial classes?
Yes, we provide complimentary trial classes to help students experience our programs before committing to enrollment.

Ms. Jenny is amazing!! She has been our secret weapon to my daughter's success in rhythmic gymnastics! Not only did Ms. Jenny set the foundation for turns, but she was also able to get the performer come out of the athlete in my daughter's routines! And although we're in RG and not in the dance team, the studio has always treated us like family! Thank you Signature Dance Studio!!!
