Reel Cast Charters is a full-time Connecticut-based sport fishing guide service specializing in the Connecticut waters of Long Island Sound. Our fishing guide service is unique in the fact that we do much of our fishing in shallow waters with light tackle. Reel Cast Charters has carved a niche for itself in Northeast sport fishing, providing an experience to anglers like no other by targeting trophy-sized striped bass with light tackle.
There is no trolling and no oversized conventional reels-our clients fish live baits, top water and other artificial lures for big fish. At Reel Cast Charters, we strongly encourage catch and release fishing for the future of our sport, but will be happy to fillet your limit if you wish to keep it for table fare.

Report
A $100 deposit is required to book your trip, and the remaining balance is due the day of your trip. Please note that it is customary to provide a gratuity (18-20%) for a Captain that is an employee of the fishing charter company. He is working as your Captain and does not have a mate. Cancellations of less than 24-hour notice will be charged 100 percent of the total trip cost.

Mike runs a high end guide service and is hands down one of the most experienced Anglers on the CT and RI coast.
