Services
Regenerative Medicine
Regenerative medicine uses the bodys natural healing factors to repair damaged tissues causing chronic pain. Techniques like platelet-rich plasma therapy and prolotherapy target osteoarthritis, joint degeneration, and complex conditions like fibromyalgia. These minimally invasive treatments reduce inflammation, improve joint stability, and decrease reliance on pain medications while promoting long-term tissue regeneration.
Spinal Cord Stimulation
Spinal cord stimulation involves implanting a device that delivers electrical pulses to interrupt pain signals. This treatment addresses chronic neck, back, and extremity pain from conditions like failed back surgery syndrome and complex regional pain syndrome. The therapy provides significant pain reduction through a trial period before permanent implantation, offering long-term relief without narcotic medications.
Epidural Steroid Injections
Epidural steroid injections deliver anti-inflammatory medication to reduce swelling and pressure on spinal nerves. This treatment alleviates radiating pain from herniated discs, spinal stenosis, or nerve compression in the neck, back, hips, or legs. Many patients experience relief after one injection, though repeat treatments may be needed for sustained benefits.
Minimally Invasive Lumbar Decompression
The MILD procedure treats lumbar spinal stenosis by removing excess tissue to restore spinal canal space. This outpatient treatment alleviates back and leg pain worsened by standing or walking. The minimally invasive approach requires no general anesthesia or large incisions, allowing for quicker recovery compared to traditional surgery.
Radiofrequency Treatment
Radiofrequency treatment uses heat to disrupt pain signals from affected nerves. This technique targets chronic lower back, neck, or arthritis pain by reducing nerve activity that transmits discomfort. Pain relief typically lasts 6-12 months, with repeat treatments available to maintain effectiveness for long-term symptom management.

I went there inquiring about prolotherapy/PRP for chronic arthritis in my hips. Dr. Buenaventura discussed other options and didn't push either one. While only a day later, I have noticed a difference in how I feel and my pain in the hips. I have to go back in about a month for a follow-up, but so far I'm very pleased. The staff are really nice also, which for me makes a huge difference in a doctor's office.

I have had several lumbar and cervical epidural snd facet injections over the years. I have had no adverse reaction, the injections were expertly placed and have provided tremendous relief. They have kept me functioning. The staff there is wonderful and professional. Dr. Buenaventura also offers minimally invasive procedures that may stave off major surgery. Ive experienced back pain for quite a long time until one evening it became so unbearable I had to go to the emergency room. After morphine, pain pills and an MRI, I was referred to Dr. Buenaventura. He recommended the steroid injections to reduce the inflammation caused by my herniated discs. After the injections I experienced a 90% improvement in my pain level within 3 days! I went from using a walker to get around inside my home to practically no pain whatsoever. Dr Bs expertise as well as the friendly, knowledgeable staff is second to none. I cant thank them enough for how well they

Dr. B was very careful about explaining everything to me, which is of the utmost importance to a scientific person like myself. The other thing that is drastically different between the way Dr. B went over my MRIs and X-rays with me and the way other doctors have done was astonishing. He saw things on my radiology that other doctors have seen but never noticed before. He had a good idea of where to start and I'm very satisfied with my SI shots because he had the right idea. My pain has lessened a great deal and without pain killing drugs, which I've been anxious to avoid. I'll be returning to talk
