Dr. Edward C. Sun is a Harvard-trained, board certified spine surgeon. He consults and treats complex spine problems of cervical, thoracic and lumbar spine. Dr. Sun uses the newest and most innovative surgical techniques including minimally invasive spine surgery and motion-preserving spine surgery as well as non-operative and operative treatments for spinal deformities, fractures, infections, tumors and arthritis.

Below is a checklist of items and forms that will help prepare you for your upcoming appointment and make your visit as productive as possible. If your relevant records are not already at our clinic, please obtain them and bring them with you. If you are unable to do this, please register 15 minutes before your scheduled appointment to complete the paper work.

Please call the office to make an appointment in advance. If you are unable to keep your appointment, please call us as far in advance as possible so we may use that time to see another patient in need of care. We make a sincere effort to adhere to our appointment schedule and appreciate your patience if we are late due to emergencies or hospital surgery.
Rx Refills Policy

Call Dr. Sun's office if you feel dizzy, nauseated or itchy after taking a pain medication. Many pain medications contain Tylenol (acetaminophen). Pharmacists recommend that acetaminophen intake should be limited to no more than 4,000mg (4grams) in 24 hours. Liver damage can occur when these amounts are exceeded.
