Chuck or Dr. Bittel Senior is a long time resident of Orange County where he attended Western High School in Anaheim. His undergraduate degree in Medical Microbiology was completed at California State University, Long Beach. He began his professional career as an educator, teaching biology, physiology and chemistry at Villa Park and Canyon High Schools.

Our office is conveniently located on Yorba Linda Blvd in the East Lake Village shopping center (next to Von's). We are a family optometric practice comfortable in serving the needs of patients anywhere from 4 to 104 years old. We tailor our exams to meet the specific needs of each individual in our exam chair.
Myopia Management

Myopia (or near-sightedness) is a condition (some would argue a disease) that impairs an individual's ability to see clearly at a distance without the use of corrected lenses. Due to a combination of genetic and environmental factors (primarily an increase in screen time and academic demands) the prevalence and severity of myopia are increasing world-wide, especially in young children.
