SwimSafe was founded in 2005 by Cary Belyea. Cary had spent years in various aspects of pool management including as a lifeguard, pool manager, swimming coach, instructor and as president and general manager with a national pool management company. By 2006, SwimSafe was managing five pools. Since that time, growth has been steady and strong.
Shane Wiggins

Responsibilities: Shane oversees our team of regional managers and supervisors that operate all lifeguarded SwimSafe facilities in the greater Cincinnati area. Experience: Shane has managed Swimsafe facilities for over a decade. His previous experience includes managing Summit Hills Country Club for three years, supervising Northern Kentucky for four years, and directing the Eastern and Southern Division for two years.
J.P. Hader

Responsibilities: J.P. oversees our team of regional managers and supervisors that operate all lifeguarded SwimSafe facilities in the greater Dayton area. Experience: J.P. started at SwimSafe in 2010. His prior experience includes lifeguarding at Clinton Hills Swim Club, and as Assistant Manager at Clinton Hills Swim Club and Clifton Meadows Swim Club.
Jacob Hooker

Responsibilities: Jacob oversees our team of regional managers and supervisors that operate all lifeguarded SwimSafe facilities in the greater Columbus area. Experience: Jacob started with SwimSafe in 2016. His prior experience includes lifeguarding and managing at the Hilliard Family Aquatic Center, supervising the Ohio University Aquatic Center, and over a decade as a lifeguard trainer.
Marty Fisher

Experience: Marty joined SwimSafe in 2018 as Construction Manager for the Construction and Repair team playing a key role in the development of the team's concrete repair and restoration expertise. In 2019, Marty took over as General Manager of Pool Maintenance, Construction and Repair, managing projects for commercial pools from Northern Kentucky to Central Ohio.
