In actuality, only 12-15% of animal hospitals have gone through the accreditation evaluation process by the American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA).

Our experienced veterinary care team is excited to welcome you and your pet into our animal care family. Dr. Caitlin Sacco was born and raised in Syracuse, NY. She received her undergraduate degree in Biology from Niagara University while also playing Division 1 lacrosse.

Since the age of five, Dr. Sacco knew that she wanted to be a veterinarian and was able to fulfill that dream while attending St. George's University on the tropical Caribbean island of Grenada.She attended her clinical year of veterinary school at Auburn University, AL. After receiving her doctorate degree, she partook in a rigorous, year-long, small animal internship at the Veterinary Specialty Hospital of the Carolinas in Raleigh, NC.

Lena has worked in the veterinary field since 2000 and received her RVT license in 2009. She has worked the majority of her career in specialty medicine and has acquired a wide range of experience including Internal medicine, Oncology, Surgery, and ER/Critical Care. She has had the pleasure of leading many specialty departments and working with great teams of highly skilled doctors over the years.
