I really appreciate Melissa's dedication to teaching and adapting the lessons to my daughter's needs. Our son has blossomed in his love for music while taking lessons from Dungeness Music Academy. Dungeness Music Academy opened in 2003, and has been providing high quality music education to the Olympic Peninsula ever since. Our music teachers provide lessons on a variety of instruments including piano, guitar, voice, composition, cello, violin, drums, and more. We teach traditional and contemporary music lessons and incorporate different teaching techniques tailored to each individual student.
Piano

Piano lessons are often the best place to begin musical development, especially for young children. Children can begin piano lessons with us as early as 4 years old. When our students reach an early intermediate level they will have mastered the essential concepts of music and are easily able to apply their skills and knowledge to learning another instrument.
Guitar

Guitar lessons at Dungeness Music Academy are all about the student, what they enjoy, and what motivates them. We introduce our students to a variety of guitar styles and take them in the directions they are most interested in. We create a unique learning plan for each student that is challenging but not overwhelming.

Voice lessons are a great way for children and adults to gain confidence and enjoyment of signing. We also provide intermediate and advanced instruction for more serious vocal students. Our voice teachers have a minimum of 10 years experience in teaching voice and university degrees in music.
