It is absolutely worth checking with Marcella at 1st Rate Insurance in Kirkland when you are ready to shop for new insurance. We're all constantly bombarded with advertising and direct mailings "I saved 15% or more with..." and I my current insurance didn't seem to want to work with me on pricing. I had never gone through an independent broker before and always figured I'd be getting a worse deal than dealing direct, since they've got to get a cut, right? I saw ads where some 3rd party would take my info and shop for me, but that seemed extra sketchy and I wanted to deal with a real person, so
