Please. I’m begging Soon’s “sushi” lovers to get out of this town, have some GOOD AUTHENTIC sushi and then come back here and try this place. Also, there’s the outrageous price. They charged Nobu prices. The pic that has been added shows you what $100 of Soon’s sushi gets you. If you don’t care about your taste buds enough to treat them kindly, you might as well save some money and get yourself sushi from your local kwik trip. I was so relieved when Soon's opened back up after the fire. I used to love going here for my birthday--highest quality sushi in town, DELICIOUS. I treasure the memories of Soon coming around to our table and insisting she box up our leftovers for us with her own hands. I can't wait to go back for another celebratory meal. You won't regret ordering food from here!!!

Wow! The reviews were absolutely awesome. The portions of sushi were truly unbelievable. I normally can feel comfortable with 4 rolls…. I had to take half of my order home as the meal was plentiful. Fresh salmon, fresh tuna, fresh eel… all prepared in the specific rolls and were just really tasty and fresh. The service and staff are warm and friendly. Oh. And being new in the area… it is a quaint restaurant with all new and updated inside for sure…. Truly a local treasure I’m sure.

Came here because of a recommendation from a friend. We ordered miso soup, kimchi, fried octopus, shrimp fried rice, and dragon roll.
The miso soup was good. Kimchi was spicy but wasn’t sour at all. Shrimp fried rice tasted like the only thing added was salt, and was mushy like the cook used freshly cooked rice. The fried octopus was ok, but the sauce didn’t really complement. The dragon roll was good, I really liked the grilled eel on top.
Sushi is good, skip everything else.

Hands down the best sushi ANYWHERE! I've been coming here for over 10 years and have yet to be disappointed. The quality of the sushi is incomparable. I always order the Red Fire Roll and it's always so fresh and tasty every time. This place has definitely gotten very busy over the years. That says a lot. Keep it up!

Great atmosphere, great host. So much food per roll and such great, high quality rolls. Soon came out and talked to us and she was so genuine and sweet. They really take care of you here and by far best sushi in Kenosha. I'm a big guy and couldn't finish my rolls because it was so much food. Highly, highly recommend.

Will be definitely be back again. Tried their miso soup and their house special hand roll snd wow, was i pleased. Will be back for sure to try their maki rolls. But, yes, it's easy to say that this restaurant off the main street is definitely the "one". Intimate snd small inside with off the street parking I never would've thought that this restaurant has not only awesome pricing, but a food quality is definitely is top notch here. Thank you!

Just moved up here so we needed to find a great sushi place, based on reviews we ordered here. The food was incredible and the portions were insane, you get way more than what you pay for we were blown away. It was also incredible to see soon working with everyone and making our food, love went into making our food you could tell. We don’t need to try any other place, we already found our go to sushi place! The actual place is a small hole in the wall gem in the middle of a neighborhood, amazing food with amazing people!

Just so you know we called to place an order to learn that they close 2 hours sooner than the hours posted. I guess they must still be under covid restrictions. Must be nice to pick and choose your customers. Thoroughly disappointed with this as we love Soon's and have been treated very poorly with the new reception there. Good luck

I LOVE sushi & sashimi! They have a squid salad that is delectable!
The unfortunate thing is that EVERY time I leave I get sick! I didn't want to believe it was from the food and it's always so tasty but someone told me it may be a cleanliness place... It's really old and doesn't appear to be a very cleanly place. I never like to judge a book by its cover so I tried like 6 times. Unfortunately I cannot go there any more I'm hoping that once they open again everything will be new and renovated?! Maybe I'd give it a try again!? This place has me

I've been here before and have always loved it but this most recent time wasn't the greatest. I called an order in for pick-up and when I arrived, no one acknowledged me. There was a man doing something on a computer who looked right at me but did not signal anyone to assist. There were 3 people working on food that were in my line of site and someone else who appeared to be on their phone. After a little more than 5 minutes, the woman on her phone came up to me. My food has been done the whole time. Kind of disappointing customer service. There was only one other customer inside waiting for food

My boyfriend and I love coming to Soon's! At first we were unsure since it's a tiny little corner place, but now we're in love. Ever since we moved to Racine, we have made sure to come here regularly even though it's a bit of a drive for us. All of our friends recommended it! Their sushi is excellent, but we come for the bibimbap. The staff is always super nice and attentive.

We love Soon's! We have been going there since they first opened! The red fire roll is my favorite and their hand rolls are good for a good price. Their food that comes out from the kitchen in sizzling bowls always smells amazing but I have never tried it. We eat here or take out at least 3 times a month!

This is our family's go to restaurant for lunch or a night out. My 7 year old begs to go to Soon's for his favorite, Man Doo Soup. It's a huge serving of dumpling soup, steaming hot, so we always call ahead to reserve our table and the soup. The sushi always tastes amazing & looks beautiful. My husband swears by the Beef Yaki Udon. The service is great and Soon is so sweet, checking in on every table.
