This is a great little spot to camp close to Mt Princeton hot springs. They have electric only spots right on the river. They also have discount tickets for the hot springs! We were here mid October, just before they closed for the winter.

Stayed midweek in the first week of September and the place was about half full. We had three sites and they did not put us next to each other. More than that they put us next to the highway and the playground...the least desirable of sites. The highway noise was bothersome. Be sure to ask about what sites are available. The campground was well maintained and clean. Hospitality lacking.

Great base camp for fly fishing, mountain biking, hiking 14ers and everything else outdoors. Nice camp sites, clean bathroom/showers and a super nice staff. We will be back for sure. It would be nice to have a hook in the campsites to hang a lantern on but other than that I cant think of anything at all negative. Great place.

Chalk Creek RV/Campground was awesome! Super friendly staff and clean facilities. We needed a 30 Amp extension cord to connect our rv, not a problem. The office had their maintenance man drop one off! Stellar customer service is the rule here. If we are ever in this neck of the woods again, this is where we will stay.
