Some people may think it is expensive to live in an assisted living facility. Once you move into a facility, you do not have to worry about property taxes, home insurance, home maintenance, utilities (except telephone service), and reduced or no transportation costs. Staff is available 24 hours for assistance, and the peace of mind that comes with it is priceless.

From the family point of view, this has been terrific, High Desert Haven. Because me and my two sisters are still very, very mobile. When we take long trips out of country and all over, we kind of do a relay on who's here. It's very comforting to know that if for some reason all three of us are gone, that High Desert Haven and it's wonderful staff are here to take care of Mom.
