Our stoneware combines traditional wheel-throwing techniques with modern functionality. Each piece uses high-fire clay blended with porcelain for durability, finished with proprietary glazes that resist chipping. Fired at 2400 degrees, our tableware maintains integrity through repeated oven, microwave, and dishwasher use while retaining artisanal character.
Custom Glaze Designs

With 25+ years of professional pottery experience, Jeff holds a B.A. in Ceramics from Western Washington University. He established Cascadia Stoneware in 2006 after apprenticing with master potters and winning multiple regional awards for innovative wheel-throwing techniques.
Natalie McDougall
Co-Founder & Production Lead
Natalie learned pottery techniques directly from Jeff during the company's founding. She specializes in spout-pulling and kiln operation, managing production quality control while maintaining the studio's commitment to traditional craftsmanship standards.

Are your products food safe?
Yes, all our stoneware is lead-free and certified food-safe. The high-temperature firing process creates a non-porous surface that won't leach chemicals into food.
Can I use Cascadia Stoneware in the oven?
Our pottery is oven-safe up to 475°F. Avoid sudden temperature changes and never place directly on stove burners or open flames.
How should I clean your pottery?
Dishwasher-safe with mild detergent. For stubborn stains, use fine-grit sandpaper on unglazed surfaces or soak in warm vinegar water before cleaning.
Do you offer custom orders?
