In 1939, nine men and women organized a local credit union in Cumberland County for the benefit of their co-workers.
The nine original charter members of the Kimble Federal Credit Union were Kimble Glass employees. The original credit union was administered from office space inside the glass plant. Operations were moved to a building constructed in 1972 on Vineland's Crystal Avenue across from the main plant for access by employees and their families.

If you are interested in becoming a BAFCU member, you must meet eligibility requirements. If you are employed by one of our member groups or associations, retired from, or an immediate family member of a current account holder, you are immediately eligible to join. You may also become eligible for membership by supporting M-25 Initiative.

All members must maintain a balance of $25 in a share (savings) account. It represents one share in the credit union. All shares are insured by the National Credit Union Administration to a maximum of $250,000 per member. Money market accounts earn a higher dividend rate than regular share accounts.

Worst bank I had ever had, legit been two days in a row being on hold and no one picks up the phone, just need help after they updated there website. Had someone pick up the phone and hang up right away when they only had 30 min before closing. Then I finally got someone to answer, then the website gave me another problem now I have to wait for another two days before someone decides to pick up the phone. It’s so sad
