Curriculum

The PNS curriculum-High Scope-is based on the belief that children learn best through active experiences with people, materials, events and ideas, rather than through direct teaching or sequenced exercises. It is designed to support each and every child in developing social and academic self-confidence and readiness.
Parent Corner
Report
Once upon a time, small children spent their pre-school years at home. Supervised by a full-time mom, auntie, or granny, their territory was the house and back yard, their society the neighborhood. The daily agenda? Play - with intervals of food and sleep. The goal? To grow and thrive. If you're looking for a quality preschool program, keep this in mind about small children: Their work is play.
Your Child's Development
Report
Every child's development is unique and complex. Although children develop through a generally predictable sequence of steps and milestones, they may not proceed through these steps in the same way or at the same time. A child's development is also greatly influenced by factors in his or her environment and the experiences he or she has.
