An abscessed tooth is usually sensitive or painful. The discomfort is what normally alerts the patient to the problem.

If you have a cracked or chipped tooth, which is not an uncommon problem, dental bonding might be the right treatment for you. Dental bonding is ideal if a tooth has any decay and can also fill out the shape of a tooth. Unfortunately, teeth can easily be cracked or chipped while playing sports, eating hard food or just about anything.
Veneers

Veneers are a porcelain cover which is bonded to the front of the tooth and are custom made for each individual. They can address a number of dental issues; close spaces, whiten teeth, straighten teeth and repair chipped or worn teeth. Veneers are usually about the same thickness of a fingernail, only about 1mm.
