San Diego Sol was founded in 1997 as a women's travel basketball team and has evolved into a comprehensive youth basketball organization serving boys and girls aged 5-18. We provide year-round programs including camps, clinics, and competitive teams for grades K-12, alongside hosting leagues and tournaments for players of all skill levels. Our mission centers on using basketball as a platform to instill lifelong values such as teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship. The team loved it. Its a nice and airy place nestled in the trees. Only complaint is the vending machine took my $3.00 and my drink didnt drop.

The entry charge is less that usual. But the refs are HORRIBLE. THEY COMPLETELEY CATTER TO THE HOME TEAM. AND CALL BAD CALLS. The courts are so slippery it's like ice skating. THE REFS WOULDN'T EVEN LET THE COACHES TALK TO THE PLAYERS WHEN THEY WERE ON THE COURT. Never want to come here again

My son is 7 years old and a newbie to basketball. He attended a 4-day full-day summer camp (9-3:30) and had an amazing time!! Went above and beyond our expectations in terms of growth with improvement in dribbling and shooting that really showed in their practice games. Especially thankful for the coaches who patiently stressed fundamentals, emphasized good sportsmanship, and maximized opportunities for all levels of learners to participate!

I just wish they wouldn't charge every member if the family to watch a game. It gets expensive. Just build out into the cost of registration for the team. The new floors are nice.

My teenage daughter just made one of the basketball teams here. She used to come here when she was around eight or nine years old. We returned because of the positive experiences she remembers from her childhood basketball days. They have excellent basketball skills programs that she has participated in. The basketball leagues are excellent and above par. If you want your child to excel and do well in basketball, this is the place to bring them. The prices are very reasonable and the results are positively obvious. The coaching staff is phenomenal and they work very well with kids of all ages

The San Diego Sol basketball club has been an outstanding platform for my daughter to improve her basketball skills, basketball IQ and confidence to shoot the rock. Sol gave her the opportunities to play at high level college viewing tournaments to get the exposure that she was looking for. The coaching staff from top to bottom has always been supportive especially during times of injury. They genuinely care about their players well-being and development. If she had to do it all over again, we would of started with Sol from the beginning.

Ive been coaching in this gym for years. Always get sad when I hear the stories about them possibly closing the place down. Its pretty much the only large public basketball facility in San Diego so any and all major tournaments that come to town have to come here and if they close this place down it will definitely have an effect on local development of the game. My son and his teams also play here pretty much every weekend. I could post so many pictures but I think google would kick me off the platform. Great place for memories.
