I needed someone I could trust to watch my 14 year old miniature dachshund (an adopted old guy with a history of separation anxiety and some past trauma) while I was out of town. A good friend gave a glowing review of Camp Zoo & Pet Ranch after they took great care of her epileptic German Shepherd.
We did a "meet and greet" on the property, and my little dog has now stayed with them three times, the last time for over 7 days! He is happy when I drop him off and happy when I pick him up. Teri and Mark are kind and loving people who take watching your pet seriously. They update you with a few text messages throughout the stay and take care of your pet as if they were their own.

We are not a traditional "Kennel"; we do NOT put your dog in a kennel all day. The dogs are integrated with other dogs and our own "pack". They will play outside together (we run our boarders at least 10 times/day) and get 24/7 care/interaction and socialization in a home environment. Camp Zoo & Pet Ranch is on over a acre of land in SW Austin, with plenty of room for your dog to play.

We pride ourselves on providing a home experience for your pet and 24/7 care. With many boarding facilities, your dog could be left alone in a kennel for up to 22 hours and are typically left overnight unattended. Your dog will stay in our home and have plenty of playtime and socialization and be integrated with our own "pack".

We require a meet & greet/temperament test to ensure we do not board any aggressive dogs. We introduce your dog(s) to our personal dogs one at a time and evaluate their interaction. Since the dogs are in a pack environment we have to feel comfortable with all the dogs and ensure they are not dog aggressive.
