In 2003, Kathy and Kelly took a class at Lakeland Community College called "From Dreams to Reality" and upon completion of the class, decided to become entrepreneurs. Kathy continues to operate the studio for it is her passion. Kathy has a strong background in art and appreciates how the creative process can influence one's life and help one to heal while in the mist of the daily struggles we all experience.

We have a very large selection of items to choose from plates, platters, vases, trivets, wine glass stems, picture frames, tea pots, mugs, animal figurines, dog bowls, banks and much, much more. Spirit of Clay offers over 80 colors to choose from, as well as a variety of stamps, stencils and books to help you with your designing.
Clay

Many ceramics studios offer only already-fired ware for crafty customers to paint, but our studio takes pottery one step further - or rather, one step back - children ages 6 and older and adults are able to use an electric pottery wheel to shape their own pieces from a lump of clay. You must have some type of prior experience to use the wheel.
Glass Fusing

You can just stop in and we will show you how to work with the glass and basically give you an introductory class, show you how to cut glass and the basic of making a piece of glass fused artwork. You will have the option to pick from many different styles, sizes and shapes that we offer. During crazy times, what could be more important than peace?
