Coastal River Charters is Savannah's premier inshore and nearshore fishing and sightseeing service (U.S.C.G. licensed and insured). Whether fishing the back country or touring coastal Georgia's beautiful and historic coast, you're sure to agree Georgia is a "little bit of heaven." I'm Captain Jack McGowan. I've spent most of my life on or near the water. My desire is that time your time on the water is enjoyable and that you'll come back often to the low country.

General Info
Report
Most fishing is done with in a 30 minute run from the marina. The boat can comfortably fish one to four anglers. Fishermen are encouraged to practice and release! Keep a few for supper if desired and release the rest. As the coast gets more populated and equipment improves going light on what we take is only smart.
Rates
Report
This rate is for one or two anglers. Add $25.00 for each additional angler - maximum four. This trip is designed with price in mind. We'll fish for whatever is biting! Usually this will mean whiting, small sharks or whatever fish are pushing in at the time of the charter. This is a great family adventure particularly fun for young kids!
Testimonials
Report
My girlfriend and I started the day excited to catch some Georgia seafood on a crisp, orange-sunned Friday morning. Captain Jack was waiting for us at the marina. I was wondering if everything would work out alright because I had only talked to Captain Jack on the phone from New York. He asked what I was looking for, and I told him, "I want to have a fishing adventure."
Fishing Reports
Report
This is the time of year fishermen have waited for. The only downside is the season seems to slip by too quickly. Cool temperatures can mean a good bite. Water temperatures in local have dropped to around 66 degrees. We're still seeing some signs of summer with some sharks around as well pinfish and yellow.
