The staff was nice enough and the office was clean but…. Don’t bring your skin questions here if you want more than a 10-15 minute appointment.
During my rushed appointment, I expressed that I was overwhelmed by all the skincare opinions. Unlimited brands and formulas, leaving me with too many options. For example, I’ll spend money on a highly recommended face serum, only to find out it wasn’t worth the money or made my skin conditions worse. We’ve all been there.

My Family Med doctor said I had scabies. Went to this dermatology office to get second opinion and they confirmed it was scabies. I kept going back because my skin was not getting better, only worse, and they treated me like it was my fault I was still having skin problems. After almost 2 months of skin hell and many life interrupts, I went to another dermatology office who said I had atopic dermatitis and gave me the proper medicine to treat my skin. How can a dermatologist not diagnosed dermatitis properly?

The employees are nice and I was able to get quick screening appointments. However, they have no patient portal, biopsy reports take a long time for notification, reports require an office visit rather than notification by phone call or letter, and the delay between positive biopsies and surgery is unacceptably long. Worst of all, their record keeping and reporting was so poor that another dermatology clinic was unable to determine the location of the cancer based on the records they sent. I stand by my review. These are all processes patients can verify on their own. And a Patient Portal includes

I found this wonderful clinic because i had a suspicious lesion...The wonderful woman who answered the phone got me a pretty darned quick appointment. Upon arrival I was greeted like an old friend...everyone I had contact with on arrival was gracious, professional and made me feel calm. the woman who brought me into the exam room was so nice and professional and nice. I am quite disappointed with Citrus Dermatology. Went in to get help on Friday Dec 13th 2019.
The staff was very friendly. The doctor came in and based only on what I said diagnosed me with acute dermatitis. He did not take a close look at my skin. This may be normal because I have never been to a dermatologist so have no expectation. When complete I was told they would call in my prescription to Wal Greens in Crystal River and I could pick them up later in the afternoon. I checked with Wal Greens multiple times with the last time being about 7pm. Now I will have to wait till

This place is amazing!! Dr. Wallace is AMAZING! The staff is very nice and the office is very clean with a nice atmosphere. My son had a rash for months that they kept treating as scabies... yet no one else in the house got it. We Applied cream, kept him out of school and activities... then we came here and Dr.Wallace walked in and automatically knew it was not scabies. He diagnosed him, gave him some cream and no more rash!!!!! Not only that I talked to the dr just as much as the assistant, which is more than I can say for Suncoast dermatology. I highly recommend this dermatologist over ANY other
