John Van really cared about my welfare throughout, he did an excellent job explaining everything and showed me photos of everything that he found and why the crown was necessary. He has a very calming and easy manner. I am very happy and feel lucky that he is my dentist! Dr. Van was born and raised in the Bay Area and has remained in the community for most of his life. He received a full academic scholarship to the University of California, Los Angeles, for outstanding achievement in high school. After earning his BS in psychobiology, he attended one of the top clinical dental training programs in the country at the University of the Pacific, Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry in San Francisco.

Dr. Davis Beckstead is a Bay Area native who grew up in Los Altos and is a third-generation dentist in his family. Dr. Beckstead graduated from the prestigious University of the Pacific, Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry in San Francisco where he excelled in clinical dentistry. During his dental training, he learned about all aspects of general dentistry and has a true passion for what he does.
