In 2010 on Market Street in the City of Poughkeepsie, Kiriaki (Kiki) Pertesis, licensed massage therapist and esthetician opened a small one-room spa called The Little Owl Spa. Her dream was to create small-scaled luxury spa focused on honesty, knowledge and customer care. In a smaller space, each service could be customized to fit the needs of every client.
No one would be rushed out the door or forced to purchase products they don't need just to fulfill a demanded quota. The Little Owl Spa on Market St, fulfilled every one of her wishes! After 7 years of building a large clientele and adding a couple practitioners to her team, Kiki found another location that was slightly bigger and close to home!

The Little Owl Spa offers one price for all types of massage therapy. The cost only varies based on duration of massage. Each session is customized to the clients needs in regards to pressure preference and massage type. Some of the modalities of massage that the massage therapists are trained in are: Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, myofacial release, trigger point therapy, neuromuscular massage, Eastern massage & lymphatic drainage.

There are 2 parking spots in the front of the shop available to you. Please be cautious not to park in the neighbors parking spot at the house next door. The light gray parking stops placed on driveway are there to distinguish our driveway from the neighbors. If you are unable to get a spot out front, there is alternate side parking available on the side street called PARKWOOD AVE directly across the street from the spa.

A deep cleansing facial that includes exfoliation, extractions, soothing mask, light massage of the face, neck, shoulders, arms and hands. Completed with an antioxidant serum or moisturizer and suitable SPF. We recommend that new clients start with this facial so that we can learn more about your skin.

Our premium, luxury, hard wax, is one of a kind! It is odorless, super elastic, cools quickly and due to its patented formulation, can be heated at a lower temperature than any other hard wax. This is the perfect option for sensitive skin and those that are used to hard wax hair removal. Our white soft wax is extra gentle and formulated to heat at a lower temperature with no skin drag or sticky residue.
