Martin Sprocket & Gear was founded in 1951 by Joe Martin Sr. Over the decades Martin has expanded through machining, fabrication, forging, casting, powdered metal technology and machined & injection molded plastic of power transmission components, material handling products and industrial hand tools.

Martin has three branches in Canada, which provide service to the Canadian industrial marketplace. Martin has three branches in China, which provide service to the Asian, Australian and global industrial markets. The Martin branch in United Kingdom provides service to the European, Middle Eastern and African industrial markets.
