The number one most important rule about coins, Never Clean a Coin! Cleaning coins damages them and dramatically reduces the value. Coins, especially silver coins look a lot nicer when you remove the natural patina, it's a huge no-no. Dipping or polishing silver and copper coins removes a layer of metal and potentially changes the chemical composition of the external layers, damaging the coins.

Don't get tricked by online retailers offering the "Lowest Price" these guys charge shipping, handling, processing or put you on automated programs. The latestest thing they do is say as low as X.XX over spot but when you check out the actual price is 0.10 to 0.35 higher per ounce.
