About Acupuncture
Report
Traditional Chinese Medicine is a holistic approach to wellness. With over 3000 years of clinical evidence, I am confident that we can work together to optimize your health. After a thorough health interview, I will determine a treatment plan that will include acupuncture, Chinese herbs, and lifestyle changes.
Chinese Herbs
Report
Herbal medicine is a key component of Chinese medicine. I am deeply drawn to and excited by the effectiveness of plants as medicine. The way we use herbs in Chinese medicine is different than Western herbalism. Instead of using one herb for one symptom, we create a formula of herbs unique to each symptom set.
Adjunct Therapies
Report
Cupping is a technique used in conjunction with acupuncture to promote circulation, loosen tight muscles, break adhesions, and encourage the body to flush toxins. It uses suction to adhere cups to your body, which are then either left in place over certain acupuncture points or areas of acute muscle tension, or are moved over a larger area of the body.
