After getting diagnosed he started telling me that I need to somehow work on getting rid of what I had. I later found out that getting rid of it was impossible. He would also never listen to my concerns. If you want someone to just prescribe you medication without any talking hes the right guy but other then that dont go to him.

Dr. David Schopick is one of the best doctors I have had the pleasure of seeing. I don't know what llthese bad reviews but it must be someone who couldn't follow the simple expectations of being on a treatment program. Unlike every doctor that I have ever seen, Dr Schopick actually treats me with respect and does not judge me based on my past events. Because of him I'm still alive today. If you are looking for an honest doctor that truly cares for his patients and as a bonus has reasonable rates, then he is the doc you should see. You won't regret it, I know I didnt!

Dr Shopick prescribed me a medication that caused an irreparable side effect that will persist for the rest of my life. This was after i specifically asked him if the medication had any potential to have lasting effects after discontinuation, and he said no. I never would have taken it had i known that wasnt true. He was also late by 15-45 minutes to like 3 of my 5 virtual appointments and offered no apology or explanation. Shopick is yet another useless and also negligent mental health professional that you can tell only cares about your money.

Horrible experience with him seeing my son, he just kept wanting to increase his medications, even though he was having violent outbursts on the lower doses. And then made me feel I was doing the wrong thing taking him off the medication. It's very sad because there is such a need for child psychiatrist's

I have been a patient for years and recently was traveling abroad for a little over a month and when I try to set up an appointment afterward they had already taken on new patients. Goes to show they care about money a whole lot more than their patients health

DS is someone who has no interest in listening to you, is insulting, rude and laughs at patient concerns. If you are looking for therapy or compassionate care, look elsewhere.
