We believe in time limited, solution-focused psychotherapy. By changing the way you perceive or interpret events (including the way you think about those events or even your beliefs about them) reactions become responses. Once your reactions become responses, then you can alter your behavior and emotions. We can also use clinical hypnotherapy to help access deep seated beliefs, thoughts, interpretations, and perceptions. Dr. Stewart is a certified hypnotherapist.

Dr. Stewart has an earned PhD in psychology and is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Florida. In addition, he is an elected member of the American Psychological Association and is a Fellow of the American College of Advanced Practice Psychotherapists. Only the most experienced practitioners earn that designation.

Services provided include outpatient individual, marital, and family psychotherapy, as well as psychological assessment/testing for court, social security disability, bariatric surgery, premarital counseling needed to qualify for a reduced fee marriage license, sexual offender programs, alcohol alcohol/other drug treatment, and so forth.
