NorthStar Driving Academy

As a conscientious traffic safety program for teenagers, we endeavor to serve as a storehouse of expert consultation on all issues affecting youth today.

But most assuredly, we research, on our own time, and participate in all-faculty workshops to grapple with and address driver behaviors and habit-formation, which prove most effective in helping to curb the violence against youthful drivers, as well as, indeed, against all cultures, ages, and professions of drivers today.

NorthStar Auburn is located just one block off of Auburn Way, in the Downtown Main Street district. Metro bus-stops are just across the road. NorthStar Burien is in the midst of a move from our long-time location near the post office and police station. We are taking over the space of the old Great Clips salon located in the Ross Dress for Less building.

The owner and managers at NorthStar are of the opinion that what Driver's ED needs is educators in the seat beside your teenager. Therefore, we look for seasoned professionals that have had years of experience in education, either as public school teachers or significant qualifying youth work in other driving schools, churches, youth centers, or community outreach programs.

As an adult student driver, we are here to help you learn in whatever way you need. Some adults opt-in and enroll in a Driver's Education course to learn. Over the age of 18, this is optional and is not a state requirement. Keep in mind that all accounts which are not paid in full by the first day of class will have a $25 admin fee applied. All enrollment fees must be received by your child's 9th class session date (3 weeks into the course). Student's may not schedule drive lessons if there is an outstanding balance on their account.
